<div itemprop="description">It is with sadness that the family of Alice Lillie Hudson age 95, of Amherst announce her passing on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Gables Lodge, Amherst. <br>Born in Amherst, NS she was a daughter of the late Willard P. and Lillian (Barnes) Ogden. <br>Alice was born in Amherst and spent most of her early years in Oxford. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Amherst and a former member of Oxford Baptist Church. <br>Alice was a charter and life member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Past President of the Greta Grimmer Association of the First Baptist Church and also taught Sunday school in both Amherst and Oxford. She was also very active with the Explorers and the Women’s Association in the Church. <br>Alice is survived by her daughter Betty (Hudson-Smith) Randy Parsons of Warren, three sons Willard J. (Donna) of Truemanville, Charles (Marina) of Salisbury, NB and Glen (Susan) of Amherst, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. <br>Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband J. Pearle Hudson, infant brother Charles E. and grandson Mark W. Hudson. <br>A memorial service for Alice will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 3 p.m. with the Order of Eastern Star tribute service at 2:45 p.m. all in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-9906). <br>Rev.
