<div itemprop="description">The family of Anna Mae Doucette age 83 of Amherst are deeply sadden to announce her passing on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan. <br> <br>Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Alex Daniel and Anna Mae (Braud) Colligan. <br> <br>Anna would like to be remembered for her love for her family and her services to the Church, Mary Mother of Mercy Prayer Group and Community. Her dedication to Between the Hearts Renewal Center was profound and one that she treasured each and every day. She loved to know and spend time with her children and grandchildren and cheer them on in all that they endeavored. <br> <br>Anna will be missed by her husband of 57 years, Neil Sr.; sons Neil Jr. (Paulette MacDonald), Kyle (Karrie) and Phillip (Monica); daughter Amy (Stephen) Alexander; grandchildren Matthew, Geoffrey, Amy, Jacob, Jenesta, Nathan and Deanna Mae; sister Janelle Hanna; sister in-laws Lucille Colligan, Lena Doucet and Winona Doucet and many nieces, nephews and extended family. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her brothers Bootsie, Johnny; sisters Fran and Catherine. <br> <br>Visitations will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst 902-667-9906. <br> <br>Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church with Father Keith Billard officiating. <br> <br>Interment will take place in the spring in the St. Charles- Nativity Cemetery. <br> <br>Donations can be made in Anna’s memory to the Between the Hearts Renewal Center. <br> <br>Condolences and sharing of memories may be shared with the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca or by visiting the Funeral Home Facebook page. <br> <br></div>
