<div itemprop="description"><br /> It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Cory Michael Chapman age 36, of Amherst announce his passing on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS after a brief battle with cancer. <br /> Born in Amherst, he was a son of Charlene Chapman and step Dad Dana Moore of Amherst. <br /> Cory lived his life in a big world with a large circle of friends, family and extended family. He loved life and was happiest in the outdoors whether it was hunter orange and hipwaders. <br /> Cory knew a lot about life in his 36 years, and without a doubt, being on an adventure with him was a full-on adventure. When he wasn't digging for gold in the Yukon, he was selling toys at the MARS store. <br /> Cory was a man with many friends due in part to his love of life, his generosity and his genuine care of those lucky enough to be touched by his presence. He never failed to be able to talk to people in any situation and when he smiled that smile, well, things would just be a little better or a little more fun. <br /> Nothing in the world was more important to Cory than being with his family and friends and he will be missed dearly by so many, but most of all his wife Amy and his son Hazen, his sister Ashley and his mother Charlene. clamming on the Northumberland Strait, bass fishing on the Bay of Fundy or hunting in the North. His trademark clothing and footwear would have to be <br /> He is survived by his wife Amy (Roberts) Chapman, two sons Hazen of Amherst and Avery Saulnier of New Brunswick, two sisters Ashley Moore and Cassandra Hubbard both of Amherst, maternal grandmother Sylvia (Bill) Sargent of Miramichi, NB and maternal grandfather Vernon Chapman (Sheila Harper) of Amherst and paternal grandparents Andrew and Inez Moore of Amherst and many cousins, aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. Cory was predeceased by his great grandparents Gerald and Louise Chapman. <br /> Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St, Amherst, NS (902-667-9906). <br /> Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Amherst with Rev.
