<div itemprop="description">Evelyn Georgetta Haynes age 78 of Amherst passed away on her birthday, Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan. <br /> <br />Born in Lorneville, NS, she was the daughter of the late George and Nellie (Feltham) Jackson. <br /> <br />Mom was a very fun loving lady who loved to play bingo and cards and going on adventures. She belonged to the Sunrise Campers as well as a past member of the Lorneville UCW (Ladies Aid). In mom&rsquo;s younger years she loved going hunting, fishing and clamming with family and friends. <br /> <br />She will be deeply missed by her children Georgie (Eric) Helpard, Gary (Margaret), Nancy (Gary) Porter, Harvey (Judy), Perry (Patricia), Anna Kierstead (Donald Fraser), Tommy (Thelma), Marilyn (Stuart) Hurley and Melodie (John) Fraser; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Margaret Haynes and Pearl Gallant, nieces, nephews and extended family. <br /> <br />Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Harvey &ldquo;Douglas&rdquo; Haynes; Sisters Annie Noiles, Lillian Turner, Viola Locke; Brothers Alfred, Avery and John. <br /> <br />Visitation will take place Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 2 &ndash; 4 p.m. at Campbell&rsquo;s Funeral Home (98 Church St. Amherst 902-667-9906). <br /> <br />Interment will follow the visitation at the Lorneville Cemetery. <br /> <br />Donations in Evelyn&rsquo;s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. <br /> <br />Condolences and sharing of memories may be made to the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca or by visiting our Facebook page. <br /> <br /></div>
