<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that the family of Frederick LeRoy Brown age 71 of River Hebert announce his sudden passing on Thursday, October 30, 2014.<br /><br />Born in River Hebert, NS, he was a son of the late LeRoy and Georgina (Legere) Brown.<br /><br />At the early age of 14, he worked in the coal mines in River Hebert and Minto, NB. Fred loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed collecting antiques and showing off his treasures.<br /><br />He will be sadly missed by his children Tom (Mary-Jane MacKay) of Ottawa, ON, Angie Legere (Richard Evers) of Dieppe, NB, Bonnie Everill (John Dickie) of Amherst, NS, Steven (Joanne Arbeau) of Moncton, NB, Joanna (Kevin) Fowler of Timberlea, NS, and a special nephew that he loved as a son Michael (Linda) Lawless of Edson, AB, grandchildren Tina, Ashley, Michael, Jason, Troy, Rachelle, Kody, Jenny, Krista, Megan, Michelle, Kayla, Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Courtney, one great granddaughter Ariana, sisters Marie Rowden, Ruby Brown (Roger), Ella (Eric) Clark, Lynn Terrio, Joyce (Bernie) White and Brenda Brown, brothers Earl (Sally), Ronald (Margaret), Jack and many nieces and nephews.<br /><br />Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by sisters Elizabeth, Annie, Myrtle and Muriel and brothers Floyd, George, Doug, Dawson and Donnie.<br /><br />Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Campbell&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 98 Church Street, Amherst, (902-667-9906)<br /><br />Funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in Campbell&rsquo;s Chapel with Rev. Byron Corkum officiating.<br /><br />Interment will follow in the River Hebert Cemetery.<br /><br />Memorial donations in Fred&rsquo;s memory may be made to the Cumberland Mental Health Services. <br /><br />Online condolences and sharing of memories may be made to the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca or by visiting our Facebook page.<br /><br /></div>
