<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that the family of James Robert Corney age 49 of Amherst announce his passing on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS.<br /><br />Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late George and Carol (Morris) Corney.<br /><br />Jimmy was an avid collector of movies and comics and loved music, playing the drums and singing.<br /><br />He was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life, good friends, family and food and had fun doing it.<br /><br />Jimmy will be sadly missed by his sisters Betty (Tim) Bugley of Nanaimo, BC, Carol (Mark) Steeves of Woodpoint, NB and Laura Corney of Amherst, one brother Patrick (Crystal) Corney of British Settlement, NB, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friends Deborah Gray and Theresa Gillis and many more friends too numerous to list.<br /><br />Besides his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by an infant sister Victoria and two uncles.<br /><br />A time of visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Campbell&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst.
