<div itemprop="description">The family of Jean Ann Pfinder regret to announce her passing on December 29, 2016. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. <br>Jean was born in Springhill, Nova Scotia on June 11, 1935 and later moved to Amherst where she studied and practiced nursing. She was the daughter of the late Basil and Doris (Card) Beaton. Jean was predeceased by her husband Earl Pfinder in 1999 and a brother Floyd in 1956 <br>Jean worked as a registered nurse at Highland View Regional Hospital for her entire career and was an avid dart player at the Sergeant's Mess and RCAF club. <br>Jean leaves behind sons Bruce (Maria) Pfinder of Waasis, NB and Tim (Victoria) Pfinder of Quispamsis, NB. She also is survived by two grandchildren, Matthew Pfinder of Alberta and Megan Pfinder of New Brunswick as well as her great grand child, Victoria Pfinder of Alberta. Jean is also survived by her brothers Harold (Devona), Howard(Muriel dec’d) and Williiam (Eleanor) all of Springhill and her sisters Joy (Dave) Corkum, Joyce (Gordon) Barkhouse as well as several nieces and nephews. <br>Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst, NS (902) 667-9906 <br>Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 4th at 1 p.m. in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS (902) 667-9906 with Rev.
