<div itemprop="description">It is with broken hearts that the family of Karen Marie Hambly age 60 of Westville, NS announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at home.<br /><br />Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Gould) Arsenault.<br /><br />Karen was a well-known travelling fortune teller who traveled throughout the Maritime Provinces and Florida and South Carolina. She was President of Minor Hockey in Westville for nine years, coordinator for Pictou County Minor Hockey Bingo for several years and was a volunteer for many organizations in the community. <br /><br />Karen&rsquo;s favourite pastime was travelling to Florida with her husband Ed and visiting her friends South Carolina.<br /><br />She loved her family and especially her only grandchild Maggie.<br /><br />Karen leaves to mourn her husband Ed of 38 years, her children John Hambly of New Minas, Melissa of Westville and Greg Hambly (Stella) of Linacy, NS, granddaughter Maggie and sister Gail (Chester) Kaye of Amherst and five nieces and nephews.<br /><br />Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by brother Terry Arsenault.<br /><br />Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating.<br /><br />Interment will take place in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst.<br /><br />Memorial donations in Karen&rsquo;s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.<br /><br />Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Amherst, NS.
