<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary Ann Hull age 79 of Amherst announce her passing on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS. <br> <br>Born in Lower Cove, NS she was a daughter of the late Charles and Kathleen (Symes) Brown. <br> <br>Mary was a loving and kind mother, wife, grandmother and sister who defended the honor of others and who never spoke an unkind word about anyone. We are proud that she had the heart of a lion and the fight of a Viking, she fought every battle, right to the end of her life. <br> <br>She will be sadly missed by her husband Richard, her children Wayne (Rene) Harvey of Greenwood, NS, Deborah Ashley, Donna Brogan and Beverly Dimmick all of Dartmouth, NS, Jim (Amy) Harvey of Prince George, BC, Mary Lou Vielvoye of Halifax, NS, Steven (Jackie) Harvey of Grand Prairie, AB and Janet Belliveau (Wayne) of Amherst; two stepsons Ronald and Jamie Hull both of Oakville, ON, her siblings Phyllis Brown, Grace (Wyman) Cove, Douglas (Pauline) Brown and Clayton (Jeannie) Brown all of Amherst, Henry Brown of Murray’s Corner, NB and Thelma (Roger) McIver of River Hebert, NS; sister in-law Anita McCafferty; brother in-law Kevin Hull; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her first husband Eldon Harvey, son John Harvey, brother Wilfred Brown and sister Aldena Chapman. <br> <br>A private graveside service will be held at a later date. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers memorial donation in memory of Mary could be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia. <br> <br>Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst, NS (902-667-9906) <br> <br>Online condolences and sharing of memories may be made to the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca or by visiting Campbell’s Facebook page. <br> <br></div>
