<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that family and friends of Patricia Josephine Lorette age 76 of Amherst announce her passing on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Gables Lodge, Amherst, NS. <br>Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Regina “Jenny” (Goodwin) Lorette. <br>In her younger years Pat worked for Christie Trunk and Baggage and later was employed with Victoria Manor in Amherst. She enjoyed babysitting her niece Carrie Amos. Pat loved animals and often made a home for many stray cats. She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #10 and the 50+ Club in Amherst. <br>Pat is survived by her children Marlene, Venus, Leonard Jr. and David all of Ontario, granddaughter Samantha and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren, three sisters Alice (Vaughan) Grater of Ontario and Mary Amos and Zella Kelley both of Amherst and several nieces and nephews. <br>Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Shirley Lorette and niece Carrie Amos. <br>A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-9906). <br>Interment will take place in the spring in the St. Charles – Nativity Cemetery, Amherst. <br>Memorial donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Bridge Adult Service Centre, Amherst. <br>Online condolences and sharing of memories may be made to the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca or by visiting Campbell’s Facebook page. <br></div>
