<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that the family of Philip Joseph Comeau age 74 of Amherst announce his passing on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS.<br><br>Born in Shemogue, NB he was a son of the late Alexander and Ida (Legere) Comeau.<br><br>Philip worked at Enterprise Fawcett in Sackville, NB and later for IMP Aerostructures in Amherst retiring in 2002. He loved spending time with his grandsons and supporting them with their sports and activities. Philiip enjoyed hunting, spending time at his camp in Fenwick and going for his weekly drives every Sunday.<br><br>Philip will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years Joyce (Pugsley), two sons Steven (Nancy) of Nappan and Ricky (Tanya) of Tidnish, four grandsons Steven Jr.(Amanda), Mitchell, MacKenzie and Jackson, one great grandson Chase, sisters Bertha Emmitt, Cecilia (Cece) Waller, Dorothy Smith and Caroline (Gary) Michie, brothers Ronald (Vera) and Leonard (Mary Lynn) and many nieces and nephews. <br><br>Besides his parents, Philip was predeceased by sisters Elizabeth Landry and Jane Comeau and brother in laws Frank, Harold, Donald and Paul.<br><br>In accordance with Philip’s request there will not be any visitation or funeral service.<br><br>Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst, NS (902-667-9906)<br><br>Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.<br><br>Online condolences and sharing of memories may be made to the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca or by visiting Campbell’s Facebook page. <br><br></div>
