<div itemprop="description">Philip Morris age 76 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 29, 2016 in Amherst, Nova Scotia.<br /><br />Born in Springhill, NS he was a son of the late Vincent and Vila (Siddall) Morris.<br /><br />He was a veteran of R.C.A.F. and later enjoyed a fulfilling career in the automotive industry. Those who knew Phil remember his passion for motorcycles and the camaraderie that it entailed.<br /><br /> In the last two years his struggle with dementia had reduced his quality of life. A special thank you to the entire staff of the East Cumberland Lodge for their care and compassion. <br /><br />Phil will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Juanice (Fraser) Morris; sons, Michael (Nancy), Springhill and Jeffrey (Sarah) Toronto, ON; grandchildren, Meaghan, Kristin, Melissa, Oliver, and Julia; great grandson, Logan; sister, Marion (Bill) Hoytink, Langley, BC; as well as several nieces and nephews.<br /><br />In addition to his parents, Phil was predeceased by his sisters, Marjorie Campbell and Harlo Morris.<br /><br />A time of visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 6-8 pm from Campbell&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (902-667-9906). Funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday at 2 pm from Southampton Baptist Church with Pastor Philip Scott officiating.
