Thornton Dowe
September 24, 1919 - September 5, 2014
It is with deep sadness that I must announce the passing of Thornton Dowe S. Dowe of Fenwick on September 5, 2014, just 19 days prior to his 95th birthday.
Born in Apple River, NS he was the son of the late Martin and Bessie (Allen) Dowe.
He worked for the Government M.M.R.A. and his last job was Pattern Maker for Enamel Heating in Amherst and Sackville, NB.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Iona and nieces and nephews and people who knew him.
Thornton was predeceased by his brothers Russell, Aubrey, Glendon, Mack and Smith and sisters Vera, Hazel and Myrna.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
