<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that the family of William (Sonny) H. Warren age 71 of Maccan announce his passing on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.<br><br>Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Herman and Evelyn (Dowe) Warren.<br><br>Sonny was a forestry worker for many years and later worked for Canada Post as a Route Service Mail Carrier for 18 years retiring in 2010.<br><br>He was an avid card player who hated to lose a game.<br><br>Sonny loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting, fishing and gardening and was a backyard mechanic.<br><br>He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and many neighbours.<br><br>William will be deeply missed by his wife of 43 years Diane (Hurley); sons, Billy (Tina) of Fort Lawrence and Ron (Tanya) of Southampton; step daughter, Lisa Dunlop (Scott) of Southampton; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Warren of Parrsboro and many nieces and nephews.<br><br>He was predeceased by sisters, Willena, Louise and Elizabeth; Brothers, John, Lawrence, Sydney, Ralph, Lewis and Darrell.<br><br>A celebration of Sonny’s life will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (902-667-9906)<br><br>Donations may be made in his memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.<br><br>Condolences and sharing of memories can be forwarded to the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca or by visiting the Funeral Home Facebook page.<br><br></div>
