Deborah Wellwood-Sawatzky
April 28, 1961 - July 11, 2014
Deborah Wellwood-Sawatzky - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Deborah Wellwood-Sawatzky, 53, on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Amherst, NS.
Born in Cape Breton, she was a daughter of the late Leslie Wellwood and Victoria DeBay.
She will be missed by her husband Larry; sons Charles, Michael and Daniel Wellwood; daughter Shelby Wellwood- Sawatzky; two grandchildren, Alexis and Chayse; brothers, Kirk DeBay and Robert Wellwood; and sisters Victoria Wellwood, April Hau, Juliette Thompson, Mary Fisher, Phyllis Crowe and Betty Pratt.
She is predeceased by brother Amos.
Deborah had a great zest for life and touched the hearts of her many friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Amherst with Rev. Donnie Miller officiating.
Memorial donations in Deborah’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
